DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE STATE COMMISSION FOR RELATIONS WITH RELIGIOUS COMMUNITIES AND GROUPS
Zeko Abazi is the Deputy Director of CRRCG since 2013.
He was born in Saraj, Skopje, where he still lives. He has completed elementary education in Dituria Elementary School in his native place of Saraj. He continued his education in Zef Ljus Marku High School in Skopje. He has continued his education at the Pedagogical Faculty in Skopje, study group of History – Geography, and acquired the title of Professor of Geography at Tetovo University.
He started working as a teacher in Dituria Elementary School in Saraj. His organizational abilities enabled him to advance in his career and to be entrusted the management of Dituria Elementary School in Saraj as a Principal. Later he was appointed Deputy Director of the Commission for Relations with Religious Communities and Groups.
In addition to these activities, he has also contributed to the enrichment of the social life being one of the founders and an active member of the "Drita e dervenit" Cultural and Artistic Association in Saraj and the Saraj Fest Folklore Festival. He is also one of the initiators for the establishment of the Saraj soccer club. As a member of the mosque board, he has also contributed to the one of the oldest mosques in the Republic of Macedonia "Hussein Shah" in Saraj.
He always advocates promoting of the values for peace, tolerance, humanism, mutual trust, enjoyment and promotion of religious freedoms and rights of citizens in our multi-confessional and multicultural society.
