Today, when 40 years have passed since the repose of the Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia Dositej in the church " Holy Great-Martyr Demetrius” in Skopje, where his eternal resting place is, a memorial service was held by the Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia and Justiniana I. Mr.Mr. Stefan in concelebrating with Metropolitan of Povardarie Mr. Agatangel and the Metropolitan of Tetovo and Gostivar Mr. Joseph, as well as several priests from the MOC-OA.
The commemoration was attended by the Director of the Commission for Relations with Religious Communities and Groups Darijan Sotirovski and the Dean of the Orthodox Faculty "St. Clement of Ohrid" prof. Gjoko Gjorgjevski, PhD.
In an appropriate sermon, the Archbishop Mr. Mr. Stefan referred to the importance of the work of Archbishop Dositej, who reestablished the Ohrid Archbishopric, the unifier of the Macedonian people in the homeland and around the world, a man who managed to turn the multi-generational sorrow of our people into spiritual joy through the autocephaly of our church.
