Macedonian church-state delegation this morning paid homage to the tomb of St. Cyril in Rome
The Commission for Relations with Religious Communities and Groups (CRRCG) informs the public that this morning on the holiday of the all-Slavic and Macedonian educators St. Cyril and Methodius in the Vatican, a Macedonian church-state delegation paid homage to the tomb of St. Cyril.
The delegation consisting of the Director of the Commission for Relations with Religious Communities and groups Darijan Sotirovski, the Macedonian Ambassador to the Holy See Marija Efremova, the Consul General in Venice Stojan Vitanov and the Acting Ambassador of the Macedonian Embassy in Italy Magdalena Dimova, attended the prayer service on the tomb of St. Cyril in the Basilica of St. Clement officiated by the Metropolitan of Europe Mr. Pimen concelebrating with Bishop of Stobi Jakov and priests of the European Diocese of the Macedonian Orthodox Church - Ohrid Archbishopric.
On this occasion, we congratulate all Macedonian citizens on the great holiday, which celebrates the epochal apostolic work of the Slavic brothers.
